A few days back, we have seen Qualcomm announcing its latest Snapdragon 855+ SoC and ROG Phone 2 from Asus became the first smartphone to enter the market with this processor. Now Xiaomi has announced that its BlackShark 2 Pro gaming phone will be announced on July 30th and it will be coming powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset making it the second smartphone to use this flagship chipset.
The latest processors come with Kryo 485 CPU with a clocking speed of 2.96GHz which is a bump from 2.84GHz on the 855. Another improvement that we can see is the 15 percent performance improvement in Adreno 640 GPU. Furthermore, the Blackshark Technology CEO, Wu Shimin has revealed that Blackshark Phone 2 Pro will be coming with a unique liquid cooling system and Performance program which will make Qualcomm 855+ play best for gaming.
Wu Shimin also mentioned that the touch speed of the BlackShark Phone 2 will be improved greatly and he also said that since the birth of this smartphone series, the touch speed has reached 43.5s and has remained the first in the industry. The touch response speed of this new product will be much faster than the earlier generations and also said that their BlackShark Phone 2 Pro is a phone to look forward.
The BlackShark 2 was announced earlier this year with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and was powered by a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging technology support. The handset came with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution and came out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system. It comes in 6GB to 12GB RAM options and 128GB and 256GB of ROM storage.
