Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Gaming Smartphone with Rear Fingerprint Sensor Listed Online
Earlier this year, Xiaomi jumped on to the gaming smartphone bandwagon by introducing a new brand called Black Shark. The first smartphone under this new brand is also called Black Shark. The Black Shark smartphone came with the latest specs and gaming-centric hardware. The company also bundled a Gamepad for free with the Black Shark smartphone for better gaming experience while playing games like PUBG Mobile.
Now, the second-gen Black Shark gaming smartphone is listed on China’s TENAA. The first-gen Black Shark smartphone came with a 5.99-inch 18:9 display and a front-facing fingerprint sensor. While the upcoming Black Shark 2 also comes with 5.99-inch, the fingerprint sensor is now moved to the rear. On the other hand, Razer Phone 2 is rumored to come with the same old 16:9 display.
Both the devices are backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery. While the Black Shark measures 9.15mm thick, the upcoming Black Shark 2 with 8.7mm thickness looks slimmer. Talking about the Black Shark 2, the dual rear cameras along with LED flash and fingerprint sensor are now vertically aligned. While the first-gen device came with bumps on the rear to offer better grip, the new Black Shark 2 looks more streamlined.
As of now, there is no information about the hardware of the device. However, we expect the device to come with the 5.99-inch Full HD+ display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform. It should be available 6GB/8GB RAM variants with various storage options. However, the company is now expected to optimize the software for better gameplay experience. With the Black Shark 2, we expect the company to bring the missing 3.5mm audio jack. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
