Recently, Vivo has launched the Vivo Z1 and Z1i smartphones in China. Now, the company has introduced the Z-series in India by launching the Vivo Z10 smartphone. The Vivo Z10 looks same as the Vivo V7+ and even offers similar specifications. The device is priced at Rs 14,990 and will be sold via offline stores across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. As of now, there is no information about the pan-India availability of the device.
It comes in Blue, Black, and Gold color options. The Vivo V7+ with doubled internal storage costs almost Rs 5,000 more than the Vivo Z10. Talking about the specifications, the device sports a 5.99-inch FullView display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, it comes coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The device offers 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.
The Vivo Z10 sports a 16MP single camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture and a 24MP single camera on the front with the same f/2.0 aperture for selfies. Both the cameras are accompanied by a LED flash. Though there is a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, the device also offers Face Unlock support. It runs on the older Android 7.1.2 Nougat based Funtouch OS 3.2 out of the box. The Vivo Z10 also supports dual SIM dual standby, but not dual VoLTE.
It is backed by a 3,225mAh non-removable battery that might not give more than a day-long usage. Also, the device lacks fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The Vivo Z10 measures 155.87 × 75.7 × 7.7 mm and weighs 160 grams. In the coming weeks, the company will also launch the flagship Vivo NEX smartphone with true bezel-less display and pop-up selfie camera.
