Vivo Z1 Pro With Snapdragon 712 SoC & 32MP In-display Selfie camera Launched in India
After several teaser images released by Vivo, the Chinese smartphone maker has finally brought its new ‘Z’ series to India. The company had launched the much anticipated Vivo Z1 Pro smartphone under its latest ‘Z’ series in the country. The device also happens to be the first smartphone from Viov that features a punch-hole display for the front-facing camera similar to what we have seen in the earlier released, Huawei, Honor and Samsung smartphones for that matter. The new Z1 Pro is also said to be the company’s first online-exclusive offering similar to the competition.
The Vivo Z1 Pro smartphone features a new 6.53-inch FHD+ punch-hole display (which the company calls it ‘Super Black Hidden Camera’), which the first from the company that further achieves a screen-to-body-ratio of 90.77% and also has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the Vivo Z1 Pro comes loaded with the latest Snapdragon 712 AIE powered chipset, which is built on a 10nm process with clock speeds of up to 2.3GHz and Adreno 616 GPU for gaming. The device is said to be the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon’s new 712 SoC. The phone’s focus on gaming includes a new Multi-Turbo with ART++ compiler enhancement technology combined with Ultra Game mode is said to have designed to provide more enhanced gaming and further helps in increase load speeds of the apps as well. Vivo Z1 Pro has also been the official smartphone of PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019.
In terms of storage, the Vivo Z1 Pro will be featuring multiple variants that include — 4/6GB RAM with 64GB onboard storage and a larger 6/128GB storage variant a well. For the optics, the Z1 Pro hosts triple AI-powered cameras comprising of a 16MP primary camera, an 8MP super wide angle camera along with a 2MP depth camera as well. As stated, these are AI-powered cameras and comes with several models including AI Beauty, AR stickers, bokeh, portrait light effects slow motion and time-lapse, and more. The super wide-angle camera is capable of capturing a 120-degree view when it comes to landscape photography. The punch-hole camera beholds a 32MP sensor, which also comes with AI-powered Face Beauty modes.
The Vivo Z1 Pro is packed with a massive 5000mAh battery capacity that further supports Vivo’s 18W Fast Charge technology and also supports OTG reverse charging as well. And, lastly, the device ships with Android 9.0 Pie based FuntochOS 9 out-of-the-box.
The Vivo Z1 Pro has launched in India and the device will be going on sale starting July 11 as Flipkart exclusive and can also be bought on Vivo India E-store as well. As for the pricing, the Vivo Z1 Pro starts at Rs 14,990 for the base 4+64GB variant, Rs 16,990 for the 6+64GB variant and Rs 17,990 for the larger 6+128GB variant.
