Vivo Z1 Lite is a new smartphone from Vivo that has been announced in China. The device will be added to the companies Z series and will also be a budget segment smartphone. The Z1 Lite will be available in Red, Black, and Aurora color options and is priced at 1098 Yuan (approx Rs. 11,500). The handset will be coming with 90 percent screen to body ratio along with 1.75 mm slim bezels and will have power buttons and volume rockers on the right side.
The new Vivo Z1 Lite will feature a big 6.26-inch touchscreen IPS display with Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution. To power the smartphone, Vivo has provided it will a Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-core 626 SoC with a clocking speed of 2.2 GHz coupled with 4GB RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The onboard storage is limited to 32GB which can be extended further up to a maximum of 256GB via microSD card slot.
This is a dual-SIM variant which supports one nanosize SIM card and the other one is a hybrid slot, for nano-SIM or microSD card. Out of the box, the device will come with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top. It might also get further updates in the future but nothing is officially announced about it yet. There is a 16MP rear-facing camera sensor along with a secondary 2MP camera for capturing depth information for portrait shots. There is also a 16MP camera on the front with A.I face beauty feature and also has face unlocking.
On the rear, there is a fingerprint sensor below the camera sensors and the company has given 3260mAh battery to the device to power the smartphone. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and other sensors required for automation of the smartphone.
