Vivo Y35 and Vivo Y51 smartphones attracted many users in a short time after its release.

On the other hand, Vivo Y37 smartphone too grabbed the attention of smartphone lovers and is still being used a primary device by many users. After using the device for few months, some of the users reported that they are facing few issues with the device. By considering the requests, we made few workouts with the device and found solutions for the issues. So, go through the below solutions which can resolve your existing issues.

1. Lag in the Device

Problem – Well, the lag issue is not new to the Android devices as we have received numerous reports about the same in other devices too. But, if you take simple precautions and make necessary workouts, users can easily rectify this lag issue.

Solution – The lag issue may arise due to various reasons and so users need to sort them out one by one. First of all, let’s do a task which can improve the performance of the device by avoiding the lag issue. For that, you need to enable the developer options by tapping few time on ‘Build Number’ under ‘Settings>About phone’. Once enabled, you can see the same under settings and so open them to find the animation settings. You can avoid the lag issue by altering the animation options. Turn the animations off or reduce them to 0.5x to see the instant change in functionality of the device.

Now, another thing you can perform to avoid the lag issue is to clear cache from apps and device. For app cache, open each app that you have downloaded from the app manager and tap on ‘Clear Cache’. To remove the cache from the device, get your phone into recovery mode. To do so, turn off the device and press volume up and power buttons at the same time until you see Android Recovery menu. Now, in here, use volume buttons for moving up and down, and power button for confirming the selection. So, select and confirm ‘Wipe cache partition’ and then go for ‘Reboot system now.’ Once the device gets rebooted, it will be free from cache and lag issue too.

If you still facing the lag issue on the device, then perform the factory reset by getting your device into recovery mode as explained above. In here, select and confirm, ’wipe data/factory reset’ and then ‘Yes – delete all user data.’ Once the factory reset is done, go for ‘Reboot system now’. The same process can be done by opening, ‘Settings>Backup & Reset>Factory data reset>Reset device>Erase everything’. Remember that; factory reset will erase everything from the phone and so take a prior back up. Once the factory reset is done, your device should be free from the lag issue.

2. Poor Battery-Life

Problem – Many users reported that the battery on their devices is draining faster than usual. Well, this can turn into a serious problem if ignored. But, by taking proper precautions, one can easily avoid the poor battery life issue.

Solution – To avoid the battery-draining issue, first of all, make sure that you are using original battery charger while charging the device. Next, do not perform multi-tasking on the phone as it drains the battery faster than usual.

On the other hand, widgets and live wallpapers consume more amount of battery and so avoid using them. Instead, go for static wallpapers and use one or two widgets if required. Always turn off the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, data and GPS options whenever not in use. Remove all the battery draining apps from the device as it can improve the life of the battery. If your battery is still draining, then replace it with the new one.

3. Bloatware Issue

Problem – As we all know that, every Android phone comes with pre-installed apps. Well, now Vivo Y37 users seem to face issue with this bloatware.

Solution – To avoid the issue of bloatware all you need to do is, uninstall the pre-installed apps from the device. If you do not find an option to uninstall, then try to disable them. Also, check the apps which you have downloaded from the play store as few of them will be useless. So, uninstall all such apps from the device and keep the device safer.

4. Over-heating issue

Problem – Another issue that seems to trouble the Vivo Y37 users is over-heating. Many users reported about this issue, and this can be avoided simply by performing few tasks.

Solution – Remove the case whenever you charge the device and while playing high-resolution games. This can solve the over-heating issue and if not try to remove the bloatware from the device as explained above.

If the problem persists, then switch off the device for some time and turn it on back. Even now, if the device has this issue, then perform the factory reset of the device as explained in the solution 1. Always remember not to perform multi-tasking (opening several apps and features at a time) on the phone. Avoid high-resolution games as this will easily heat the phone by over-loading the processor.

5. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth errors

Problem – Few users reported that they are unable to connect to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on their devices. Well, there could be few reasons behind this but by making few workouts, you can easily sort this issue out.

Solution – For Wi-Fi issue, try to restart your device and connect to Wi-Fi and if that fails, then restart the router as this will solve the issue. For Bluetooth connection error, first try restarting the device and if it failed, then remove all the paired devices from the phone and start pairing again. By now, your phone should be free from Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection errors.

Apart from the above issues, if your Vivo Y37 is shutting down apparently, then try to perform the factory reset of the phone as explained in solution 1.
