Vivo, the fastest growing Chinese manufacturer, has launched a three new smartphones in the Indian smartphone market. The devices include Vivo Y27l, Y15s and Y31 while the Y15s and Y27l are already listed on the company’s website, the launch of Y31 comes in surprise. The pricing of the three devices ranges from Rs.6,000 yo Rs.13,000.

Along with the next generation handsets, comes our commitment towards precision and quality for all our products across India.”
As said earlier, the Vivo Y27l is a mid-range smartphone with a 4.7-inch HD display and is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor. It has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot
The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity. It has an 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and 2,260mAh battery. With the 6.99 mm thick and metallic back cover, the device gives a premium feel while holding the device. Coming to the price it is priced at Rs.12,980.
The Vivo Y15s is the entry-level smartphone with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display. It comes powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, a 2MP front camera and a 1,900mAh battery.
The last device to be unveiled is the Y31; it comes with a 4.7-inch HD display. Unlike the other two smartphones, the Y31 comes with a MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It has 1GB of RAM and an 8GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion upto 128GB.
It has an 8MP rear camera along with an LED flash and a 2MP front camera. There is a 2,100mAh Li-Po battery that can last for a single day under mixed usage. The Y15s and Y31 run on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop based FunTouch OS 2.1. The mid-range Y27l comes with Android 4.4 Kitkat based FunTouch 2.0 and the Lollipop update is expected to launch soon.
With the increased competition from other Chinese brands, Vivo is more focusing on offline sales rather than the online only sales. The devices are already available across India through the branded and non-branded outlets. The company has also recently launched high-end Vivo X5 Pro in India for Rs. 27,980. It measures just 6.44 mm and features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
