Vivo Now Launches iQOO Space Knight Limited Edition Smartphone

Earlier this year, Vivo introduced the iQOO series to launch a flagship smartphone with an aggressive price tag. The Vivo iQOO is currently one of the best selling flagship smartphones in the Chinese market. Recently, the company launched Samurai and Monster editions of the iQOO smartphone. Now, the company launched the iQOO Space Knight Limited Edition smartphone in partnership with the China National Space Administration.
The iQOO Space Knight Limited Edition smartphone also comes with a nameplate made by the fairing of the Shenzhou spacecraft. The special edition device will be available only with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Talking about the other specifications, the Vivo iQOO sports a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it comes powered by 7nm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU.
It runs on Android 9.0 Pie based Funtouch OS 9 out of the box. In terms of optics, the Vivo iQOO sports triple rear cameras featuring 12MP primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there is a 12MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The device comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and also supports face unlock using the front camera.
The Vivo iQOO is backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery and supports 44W super fast charging. It measures 157.69 × 75.2 × 8.51mm and weighs 196 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS NFC, and USB Type-C port. Apart from the power button and volume rocker on the right edge, the device also sports trigger buttons for better gaming controls. It also includes a heat pipe for better heat dispersion while playing games.
Till date, the Vivo iQOO is only made available in its home country. While the other Chinese brands are launching their gaming smartphones outside of China, we hope Vivo also brings the iQOO smartphone to other markets in the near future.
