The upcoming Vivo iQOO Pro 5G smartphone is scheduled to be announced on August 22 and now the device has been spotted on TENAA which is a certification website. Vivo has already launched its iQOO smartphone in China earlier this year and now the latest device is certified with the model number V1916A. The pricing should be announced on the announcement day and it will be made available in different color options.
Well, the device is said to be coming with a 6.41-inch (1080 × 2340 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there will be an Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 Plus 7nm Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. The handset will be coming with 8GB of RAM along with 128GB / 256GB of onboard storage options and there is also a bigger 12GB RAM option with 512GB of storage.
This dual SIM variant phone will be coming out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system with Funtouch OS 9 and should also be getting further updates when available. On the camera front, there is a 48MP main camera sensor on the rear with 1/2.0 inch Sony IMX586 sensor and a 13MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens and a 2MP third camera with f/2.4 aperture. It will be coming with a 12MP front-facing camera with AI facial unlocking system.
Under the display is a fingerprint sensor on the front, and the handset will be powered with a 4500mAh battery on the back with the support for 44W ultra-fast charging. There should be other connectivity options like, Wi-F, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS and few more along with a sensor that is required for the automation of the phone.
