Meizu is getting ready to launch its Meizu 16s Pro smartphone which will be an upgrade over the Meizu 16s that was launched earlier this year. The company has mentioned that the Meizu 16s Pro will be announced on the 28th of August in China. The device with the model number M973Q has received 3C certification revealing its 24W mCharge fast charging support similar to its sibling 16s. The pricing along with the availability details would be shared on the announcement day.
The handset is going to be coming with an AMOLED display although the screen size has not been mentioned. Furthermore, it will be featuring a triple rear camera setup which will be including a 48MP rear-facing camera along with Sony IMX586 sensor. The camera also includes the features like night mode, ultra-wide sensor, OIS and furthermore, there is an inclusion of a second 20MP camera with Sony IMX350 sensor. For selfies Meizu has included the handset with a 20MP camera along with a ring LED flash placed below the triple cameras.
Like its sibling, the upcoming handset will also be coming with a fingerprint scanner to enhance the security levels along with the facial unlocking system. There will be a 4200mAh battery on the device which is a big bump over the 3600mAh battery used in the 16s. Moreover, it is expected that the Meizu 16s Pro could be powered with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC coupled with 12GB of RAM, UFS 3.0 storage and dual speakers.
The device should be coming out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system which should also be getting further updates when available.
