Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note Edge gets March Security Update

Seems like Samsung is on the spree to roll out the update for its flagship devices, since the past week, we have seen the South Korean mobile giant roll out software updates for its handsets around the world, including India and Malaysia. The handsets like Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5 has received the marshmallow update and thus putting the latest software in the hands on their consumers.

Now in the related news, Verizon, a Telecom operator in the United States has started to roll out a due security update for the month of the March to Galaxy Note Edge users in the country on its network. The update includes the latest Android security patch, which bumps the device’s software version to LRX22C.N915VVRU2BPA4.

Note that the update has just started to roll out to the users, so it might take its time to cycle and reach to your devices. So, you have to be patient. But just in case if you’re impatient, then you can head over to the Settings> About device> Download updates manually. Hopefully, then you’ll see the window saying about the latest security update.

Google has been consistent in offering monthly security update to the vulnerabilities that many Android users aren’t even aware of its existence. The March list included 19 issues, in this monthly address, company rates these updates as Moderate, High or Critical in their severity. Along with that, the detailed explanation is also released. The update includes six Critical, eight High and two moderate issues fixes. And that is what you will be seeing get fixed on your Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.
