Verizon LG V50 ThinQ 5G will be Available Starting June 20

The LG V50 ThinQ 5G smartphone was introduced to us early this year at the MWC 2019. The device will be arriving in the US from Verizon starting June 20th. Verizon has announced the same and the device can be ordered after few hours. Furthermore, for a limited time, the user can also receive up to $650 in discount and Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband access will also be offered as a part of the Above and Beyond Unlimited plans.

The device can be owned via the usual $10 every month so that more consumers and business will be able to take advantage of fast 5G connectivity. Moreover, Verizon is also waiving the fee for 5G but it is only for plans beyond or Above Unlimited plans. Verizon has teamed up with KT to work on 5G technology and standards and many 5G trials were done. Verizon was also one of the early proponents of 5G in the country.

The LG V50 ThinQ 5G is one among the first few 5G smartphones to support Verizon along with Samsung Galaxy S10 5G and soon Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G should also be in line. Talking about the device, the LG V50 ThinQ 5G smartphone is powered with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. It sports a 6.2-inch OLED display and supports HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) resolution and has pogo pins on the rear to attach the accessory and a secondary screen that can support landscape as well as portrait modes.

Talking about the camera, the LG V50 ThinQ 5G will be coming with a 12MP primary camera with f/1.5 aperture, a 12 MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 16MP Ultra wide-angle lens. There is also an 8MP main selfie camera housed inside the notch on the front along with a secondary 5MP wide angle lens. The device will be coming with Android 9 Pie Operating system out of the box and should be getting further updates when available.

The LG V50 ThinQ 5G will be equipped with a 4000mAh battery on the rear with the support for fast charging as well as wireless charging. There is a 32-bit Hi-Fi Qual DAC and comes with 128GB of onboard storage that can be extended further via microSD card slot. Are you planning to get this 5G smartphone from Verizon?
