Upcoming Lenovo Z6 Pro to Capture Photos in 100MP Resolution
Lenovo will be unveiling its new Lenovo Z6 Pro flagship smartphone in the month of June in China. The company was first expected to launch this device at the MWC 2019, but then it only revealed some key features of the device. It is already confirmed to come with the Hyper Video and Super Macro modes in the camera app. Today, Chang Cheng, VP of Lenovo Group, has posted about the Lenovo Z6 Pro using the hashtag ‘亿级像素’ which translates to billion pixels.
Since the once megapixel is equal to one million pixels, we expect the device to capture photos in 100MP resolution. Instead of featuring a 100MP camera sensor, the device might actually use pixel binning technology to give the output in 100MP resolution. As seen on most other Chinese flagship devices, the Lenovo Z6 Pro might also use the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor on the rear of the device.
The Lenovo Z6 Pro will be coming with the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform and offers up to 12GB of RAM. It should be running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with ZUI skin on top. The Lenovo Z6 Pro will be the successor to Lenovo Z5 Pro which came with the slider mechanism. It packs 6.39-inch AMOLED display with no bezels or notch. Under the hood, the device is powered by 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform.
There is also a special edition called Lenovo Z5 Pro GT which packs the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform. In terms of optics, the Z5 Pro sports 16MP + 24MP dual camera setup on the rear and 16MP + 8MP dual selfie cameras on the front. The device also sports an in-display fingerprint scanner and supports face unlock. Earlier this week, the company also confirmed to launch the Moto G7 Plus on April 8th in China. Coming to the Lenovo Z6 Pro, we will be knowing complete specifications and availability details on the launch day. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more detilas!
