The Moto G7 Plus was unveiled at an event held in Brazil last month alongside Moto G7, G7 Play, and G7 Power. Now the Vice President of Lenovo Group – Chang Cheng has confirmed that the Moto G7 will be launching in China on 8th of April at a launch event scheduled in Beijing. The same has been posted on Chang’s official Weibo account but there is no information about the global availability or pricing of the Moto G7 Plus as of now.
He also posted an image of the launch which reveals the handset will be coming to China in Red and Blue color variants. Coming to the specs of the handset, the Moto G7 Plus will be featuring a 6.24-inch Full HD+ (2270 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display along with a water drop notch giving 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it will be coming with Snapdragon 632 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and there could be another RAM variant also.
The onboard storage is 64GB which might get a microSD card slot to further extend it. It will come out of the box with Android 9.0 Pie with stock-like experience and comes with 3000mAh battery on the back that supports 27W Quick Charge 4 charging. Talking about camera, it will be featuring a 16MP main camera along with a 5MP sensor with LED flash on the rear while on the front we can find a 12MP camera for selfies.
Apart from these, it will be coming with a fingerprint sensor on the back while has the connectivity options like 4G VoLTE< Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, A-GPS, USB Type-C, NFX and so on. The Moto G7 Plus was priced at 299 Euros in Europe but nothing about the Chinese pricing is known as of now. Are you planning to get this successor of the Moto G6 Plus?
