UleFone Armor Rugged Smartphone Announced with 4.7” Display & 3GB RAM

UleFone Armor is a new rugged smartphone from UleFone that has been announced for a discounted price of $159.99. This device will be a rugged handset that comes with many features which also includes an SOS button. UleFone has launched very few devices till now and is not much popular across the world. There are few popular devices from the company like UleFone U007 Pro, UleFone Tiger, UleFone Paris Lite, UleFone Metal and few more.

The UleFone Armor is IP68 certified for Water and Shockproof, and moreover, it comes with waterproof components like the earpiece, speaker, microphone, camera, and button. The company has integrated a unique control IC for the touch screen of this device with an algorithm to treat moisture so that it makes it easier for the user to operate the handset with wet hands also.

Coming to the specifications of the UleFone Armor, it comes with a 4.7-inch LTPS display with HD resolution giving a pixel density of 313PPI. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect it from scratched and minor falls. To power the device there is a MediaTek MT6737 octa-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.3GHz coupled with 3GB RAM and Mali T720 GPU.

The handset will feature a 13MP camera on the rear with LED flash and 5MP camera on the front with 5-piece lens kit for both. To power the UleFone Armor, there is a 3500 mAh battery on the back, and it will come out of the box with Android Marshmallow 6.0 which could get further updates. The onboard memory of the device is 32GB which can be extended up to a maximum of 128GB via microSD card slot. The device is a dual SIM variant and will support 4G connectivity on both.

There are other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, USB 2.0 and has the normal set of sensors that are required for automation of the device. The Ulefone Armor is compatible with 18 2G/3G/4G frequency bands in 6 telecom standards and comes with an antenna on the bottom for improving the signal reception.

The UleFone Armor can be used under extreme conditions like temperatures ranging from -40-degree centigrade to 80-degree centigrade and the device will be available for a discounted price of $159.99 which was originally priced at $199.99. Moreover, this handset is dust proof that keeps the dust and dirt out while components will have longer life circle. The device will be competing against other rugged devices like Archos 50 Saphir, Kyocera DuraForce Pro, Doogee T5S and few others.

The device will be available in Black and Orange color variants. Measuring at 158.9 mm x 75.8 mm x 12.5 mm the device is thin for a rugged handset and the dedicated SOS button is integrated on the left side of the device.
