So today let’s see what are top 5 features of the latest budget smartphone offering from the company, which are the Galaxy On5 Pro and the Galaxy On7 Pro.

Build Quality

Samsung has been doing extremely well with the build qualities lately, and this applies to both high-end smartphone offering as well as the budget smartphone line-up. The company did and excellent job with these two devices as well when it comes to building quality. The plastic back has a nice rubberized texture to it, which gives a good grip in the hand. Most of these little details are ignored by other manufacturers. It has beautiful curved edges at the back of the device that allows to the device to fit in the hand perfectly. The smartphones are also light in weight and feels sturdy without any quality control issues.

Performance

Being budget smartphone offerings, both the Galaxy On5 Pro as well as the Galaxy On7 Pro performs really well. They don’t have the best processors in the world and may not outperform other devices in benchmarks, but for day-to-day usage, they are just fine. Unlike many other manufacturers, Samsung has always packed good performance in their smartphones, regardless of the price point and these two devices are no exception. They have good processors and a decent amount of RAM i.e. 2GB for running plenty of applications in the background. These devices may not be the best when you run benchmarks, but as mentioned, they will do a pretty good job with day-to-day tasks without any issues.

Software

Yes, the custom Samsung UI on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow is hefty and cluttered with options, but no doubt it offers some useful functionalities. The new Data saving mode helps you save up to 50% of data on applications. There is also an added S-bike mode, which essentially puts your phone in a state where only priority calls are passed through, to allow for safe driving. These are little details that other OEMs don’t notice, and this is what makes Samsung, one of the best in this category.

The Galaxy On5 Pro and the Galaxy On7 Pro, both of them, features a decent camera package. The Galaxy On5 Pro has an 8-megapixel rear facing camera and a 5-megapixel front facing selfie shooter, whereas the Galaxy On7 features a 13-megapixel rear facing shooter and a 5-megapixel front facing shooter. Even though they may not be the best on paper, but they do perform well given the shooting conditions are good. Unlike other manufacturers, Samsung didn’t compromise here by giving bad camera modules. They are not the best but are definitely better than many other smartphones in the market for this price.

Battery

Last but not the least, the battery on both these devices is extremely good. The Galaxy On5 Pro features a 2,600 mAh battery whereas the On7 Pro features a 3,000 mAh battery.
