Top 3 Features of the UMIDigi G Smartphone Launched Today

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer UMIDigi has launched a new smartphone today called the UMIDigi G. This is the company’s sort of like an entry level smartphone. If you remember, a couple of days back, we had covered a story about this phone saying how closely it resembles the design of the Apple iPhone 7 and how this is indeed more like a cheaper version of iPhone 7 (in terms of looks, obviously). For the price (under $90), it is also offering a really goo set of specs as well.

The UMIDigi G is powered by a Quad-core MTK6737 processor which is clocked at 1.3GHz. It also has the Mali-T720 MP2 GPU for graphics rendering. This is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is also expandable via a microSD card upto 256GB. On the front, there is a 5″ HD display which is covered with 2.5D curved glass on top of it. If you want to know more about the specs of this smartphone, then head over to the story which we covered the other day.

And now that the smartphone has been launched today, here are the top 3 features of this smartphone which makes it a good deal at its asking price –

The Design

As mentioned earlier, the design of the UMIDigi G closely resembles that of the iPhone 7. And you can confirm the same as well by simply looking at the smartphone. From the back, it looks exactly the same. From the antenna lines to the camera lens, everything about this screams iPhone 7 and if you are in the market for an iPhone 7 clone or a smartphone which just looks like the iPhone 7 at a cheaper price, then you simply can’t beat this one. From the front also it has the same chin and the forehead bezels and it makes it look like the iPhone again.

Hardware & Software

We already told you about the specs of the UMIDigi G and by now you should b convinced that it is indeed a great deal for the price. Although it is not the most powerful smartphone right now in the market, it is still right there on the top and you simply can’t go wrong with the UMIDigi at this price. And now talking about the software, the UMIDigi G is running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and this is something that still even a lot of flagship smartphones are not upgraded to.

Form factor

Since the UMIDigi G closely resembles the design of the iPhone 7, it is safe to say that it is probably one of the most comfortable smartphones to hold out there in the market. Most of the smartphones with 5″ display are getting obsolete now since the current trend is putting large displays i.e. upwards of 5.5″. So this is quite refreshing to have and it feels nice and compact to use day-to-day as well.

And now that you know everything about this smartphone, let us know what do you like about it. Be sure to let us know by dropping a comment down below and also, stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more info like this.
