Upcoming iPhones mockups and renders have circulated around the web lately. Several reports were stating the much-anticipated specifications and features of the iPhones slated to be unveiled in September this year. While most of these reports were regarding the premium iPhones, which are technically the successors of the current iPhone XS and XS Max models, the information regarding the successor to more affordable model – the iPhone XR has been barely minimum.

Apart from the screen size of the upcoming iPhone XR successor, which is expected to be 6.1-inch LCD again, there wasn’t much information regarding its new features. However, the new iPhone XR model might be XI R or whatever it might be called will be featuring Apple’s new A13 Bionic chip regardless. The Japanese blog macotakara had shed some new information regarding the new iPhone XR model. And, according to a new report from the blog, it is believed that next iPhone XR rear camera will be featuring dual cameras setup similar to what we have seen on the current iPhone XS model.

The newer iPhone XR model is said to be featuring dual rear cameras comprising of a wide angle lens and a telephoto lens, unlike the current iPhone XR, which had only a single lens camera. As for the successor of the iPhone XS and XS Max is concerned, it was already evident that it would be featuring triple rear cameras triangularly aligned in a square module – kind of similar to what we have seen on the Huawei Mate 20 models.

Citing the sources of Chinese supplier, the report had further revealed that iPhone XR would be released with a wide-angle and a telephoto lens embedded in a 3D molding glass similar to iPhone XS and XS Max successors.

While the current iPhone XS features 12MP+12MP rear cameras, we can expect the same for the upcoming new iPhone XR model as well. The report further indicates the display sizes of the upcoming iPhones suggesting the same 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED models and a 6.1-inch LCD model as well. Apple is likely to provide 18W adapter in the box with these new iPhone models alongside the USB Type-C to lighting connector cable as well.
