Tenor (10.or) is the New Smartphone Brand to Launch Exclusively through Amazon India

In the past few months, we have witnessed many new smartphone brands like Infinix, Comio, & LePhone entering the Indian smartphone market. Today, one more brand called Tenor (10.or) has set its foot in India. As of now, there is not much information available about this new brand or its smartphones. The Tenor branded smartphones will be sold exclusively through Amazon India. From the teaser video posted on the Amazon listing, we guess the 10.or smartphone to come with metal body with a 2.5D curved glass on the front.

The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. On the left edge, we expect to see dual SIM card slot along with a dedicated MicroSD card slot. It will be running on the Android OS and might comes with customized UI on top. To compete with the established brands like Xiaomi and Motorola, Tenor smartphones need to come with an aggressive price tag and powerful specifications. There are quite a few Amazon exclusive smartphones which compete with each other. Now, the Tenor smartphones will add up to that list.

For example, the Nokia 6 and Coolpad Cool Play 6 are launched at the same price and both these devices are Amazon exclusive smartphones. Even the recently launched smartphones priced between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 are all exclusively sold through Amazon India. While Xiaomi and Motorola are opening retail stores, the offline focused companies like OPPO and Vivo are launching online exclusive devices. As of now, there is no information about the company’s strategy for the offline market.
