Sony Xperia X & Z5 Premium Smartphones get Major Price cut of upto Rs 10,000 in India

Sony launched the Xperia X smartphone in India after the launch of its Z5 range of smartphones. Sony’s smartphones are usually priced on the higher side. And this is also true for even the compact range of smartphones from the company. Now when we talk about pricing, Xperia X at the time of the launch, was priced at about 48,990 INR. Well, by no means this device was bad. But still was priced comparatively higher. Even the previously launched Z5 Premium was priced at about 55,990 INR at the time of the launch.

But now it looks like the idea of heavy pricing didn’t really work out for the company. Yes, both the devices i.e. the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium & the Xperia X prices are dropped. The Z5 Premium is now priced at about 47,990 INR & the Xperia X is now priced at 36,990 INR. Here, with this price drop, we are looking at about 8,000 INR to 10,000 INR price gap for these devices now. As mentioned earlier, the idea of heavy pricing clearly didn’t work out for them, because it is not a daily scenario that we see such major price drops. Anyway, stay tuned for info such news.

Sony Xperia X & Z5 Premium Pirces

Earlier:  is the major manufacturer that had unveiled their latest flagship devices at the recently held IFA 2015. Today the company had officially launched the Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Premium in India. Interestingly the company is skipping the smaller variant in the series i.e., Z5 Compact. Among the two devices that are launched in India, the Xperia Z5 Premium is the world’s first smartphone to come with 4K Display. The devices will be exclusively sold through online via Flipkart and will also available across India through offline stores.

On the camera, the three devices comes with 23MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. Recently, Google had launched its latest Nexus smartphones Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P in India this week while the Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus went on sale starting from 16th October.

The devices run on Android 5.1 Lollipop and are guaranteed to upgrade for Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Like the other Xperia Z series smartphones, the Z5 and Z5 Premium will also come with waterproof and dustproof certifications. The device will be available in White, Black, Gold and Green colors.
