Sony Xperia E1 II specs revealed via online retailer, expected at MWC 2015

Sony might not be coming up with the flagship Xperia Z4 anytime soon, at least at the MWC 2015, but there are some budget and mid-range devices coming up for sure. One in the list, is already detailed at an online store. The Sony Xperia E1 II (interestingly, they won’t call it the Xperia E2, if we are to believe the listing) is listed at phonehouse.es, and it does show some changes in the specs, while the pictures look that of the Xperia E1.
Best part about the leak is that you find everything well upgraded from the first gen. Xperia E phone, and a decent smartphone is in the making. The Xperia E1 II seems to be coming with the same 4-inch screen, but the resolution is now 540×960 pixels (compared to WVGA 480×800 pixels previously), and there is a quad-core 1.3GHz processor powering it, unlike the dual-core 1.2 GHz one in Xperia E1.
The camera is upgraded to 5-megapixel, while the front has a 2MP sensor, and the internal storage is 8GB with 1GB RAM. The phone seems to be coming in with Android 4.4 KitKat, and we might better not talk of future updates, as the flagships too await the new Lollipop OS, months after the official launch.
The dimensions given indicate that there is no change to whatever the external aspects are, thus the pictures can again be believed a bit. Still, we’ll need to await for the official word about it. The Xperia E1 II is expected to be unveiled at MWC 2015, which is not far from now. Worth a wait, as we see a very small number of budget devices to go official at that time.
