Sony Xperia C4 with 5.5-inch Full HD display, 5MP selfie camera launched in India

Following the footsteps of its predecessor on the camera aspect, Sony Xperia C4 gets announced with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, but some worthy upgrades to the other specs. For what the company calls as PROselfies, the 5-megapixel camera on the front has Exmor R sensor, and on the back of the device, there is a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, and 1080p video recording.
Update: The Sony Xperia C4 Dual is officially launched in India. The 5.5-inch device with a lot better specs than its predecessor, comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop. The price is set at Rs. 29490.

The 5.5-inch phablet has a Full HD display, and it has the Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and Super Vivid mode. Internally, the Xperia C4 comes with a Mediatek MT6752 processor (64-bit octa-core chipset) along with ARM Mali760 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The storage is 16GB internally, while there is a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion, possible up to 128GB.
Although it shows scratch resistant, the spec sheet doesn’t point at any screen protection. The smartphone has Sony 3D Surround Sound technology along with Clear Bass, Clear Audio+, xLOUD experience for sound output. On the connectivity side, the Xperia C4 comes with 4G in select markets, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and other options, depending on the market where it is being sold.
On the back, there is a 2600 mAh battery packed in, and it is claimed to give about 12 hours 47 min of talktime, and up to 682 hours of standby time. The smartphone will be available in White, Black and Mint options, with Single and Dual SIM options based on the market.
Just to note, the Lenovo A7000 and Gionee Elife S7 have the same processor packed in, and both of them come with the same camera combination as well.
