Sony Xperia 20 with Glossy Finish Body Leaked in CAD Renders

A few days back, we have seen leaks about the upcoming Xperia 2 flagship smartphone. The Xperia 2 will be the successor to Xperia 1 which is just now made available for sale. Today, the CAD renders of the mid-range Xperia 20 smartphone are leaked online. On the design front, the Xperia 20 looks very much similar to the Xperia 10. However, the leaked renders reveal a couple of changes. While the Xperia 10 came with a matte finish body, the upcoming Xperia 20 has a glossy finish body.
This time, the company will be using metal for the mid-frame of the device. Just like its predecessor, the new Xperia 20 also comes with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Both the power button and fingerprint scanner are now integrated into one. Also, the volume rocker is moved from the bottom half to the upper half of the device. While the USB Type-C port, primary microphone, and loudspeaker are placed on the bottom edge, the 3.5mm audio jack and secondary microphone can be found on the top edge.
The protruding dual camera setup and dual LED flash on the rear are aligned to the center. Just like the other Xperia smartphones launched in 2019, the Xperia 20 will also sport 21:9 CinemaWide display on the front. It is expected to come with a 6-inch display and measures approximately 157.8 x 68.9 x 8.14 mm. With the camera bump, the thickness of the device increases to 9.84mm. During the MWC 2019, the company introduced the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus mid-range smartphones.
While both the devices come with the same design, the company is offering slightly better internals with the bigger Xperia 10 Plus. The Xperia 10 comes with a 6-inch Full HD+ (2560 x 1080 pixels) display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform. It sports 13MP + 5MP dual camera setup on the rear with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies.
