Sony has scheduled an event on the 25th of February and it is expected to introduce many new smartphones which include XA3 series. A new device called as Sony Xperia 1 has been leaked just before the launch which said to be the flagship model of the company replacing the XZ series. Evan Blass has tweeted from his official account about its 4K HDR OLED display.
The leakster also posted an image of the upcoming smartphone showcasing its Purple color. The smartphone will be coming with a triple rear camera setup although there is no information on the sensors used on it as of now which should be revealed at the launch event which is just a few days away. Following its traction, Sony has included a side-mounted fingerprint sensor just between the Volume rockers and power button.
Furthermore, this new device will be coming with a 21:9 aspect ratio and will be OP rated for water and dust resistance. Since the handset is expected to be the flagship device, it could come up with the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with a minimum of 6GB RAM along with 128GB of onboard storage. It is expected to be powered with a 4,400 mAh battery on the back and will feature fast charging technology.
This year we might not see the premium XZ series form Sony and it could be replaced by Xperia 1 series. Well, we need to wait a few more days, to get the answers to all our questions.
