Sony Xperia 1 Starts Going for Pre-Order in the US

The Sony Xperia 1 was introduced earlier this in the month of February 2019 with 21:9 CinemaWide 4K HDR OLED display. Now the device will be going for pre-order in the IS starting tomorrow, that is from 28th of June. Sony is also offering a free pair of WH1000XM3 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones for the sign-ups made for pre-order until 12th of July. These Wireless Headphones are worth $350 which should be a good deal since you are going to get them free with the smartphone.
The device will be receiving HDMI support like it was mentioned earlier and the device will be sold for $949.99. The handset could be available from Amazon, B&H Photo, Beach Camera, Best Buy, Focus Camera and few other retailers in the US. Well, to remind you the Xperia 1 from Sony is equipped with a big 6.5-inch 4K OLED screen as mentioned above with 21:9 CinemaWide display with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection with 3840 x 1644 resolutions and also comes with HDR10 support.
The smartphone comes powered by 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU. As said earlier, it comes packed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device also comes with a microSD card slot via which the storage can be extended further up to 512GB. The smartphone comes with a 12MP primary camera with f/1.6 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 12MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture.
On the front, we can find the 8MP selfie camera with an 84-degree wide-angle lens. It comes out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system with Xperia UI on top and should be getting further updates also when available. There is front firing stereo speakers setup with Dolby Atmos support. The smartphone comes with IP68 certified for water and dust resistance up to 1 meter and 30 minutes.
There is a 3300mAh battery on the smartphone with the support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 and Qi Wireless charging.
