Samsung‘s Tizen OS is powering a variety of devices like it’s smartwatch line-up etc. And talking about the smartphone powered by this OS, there are only a few to be listed. The company is also going to launch the Z2 smartphone which is going to be powered by this Tizen OS. So this goes to show that Samsung is slowly making its way forward with the Tizen OS. And now according to new leaks, it is suggested that there is yet another smartphone coming with the same OS.
A new handset with model number SM-Z930F was spotted on Zauba. This clearly points to a release of the device in future. Also, it is listed to be upwards of 30,000 INR; which, if true then it is going to be way better than the existing Z3 smartphone on the market. So this is definitely going to be an interesting device to look forward to. Also, if you are not aware, the company is also launching the new Z2 smartphone tomorrow in India at an event in New Delhi.
This new Z2 will also be powered by the Tizen OS and it is expected to be a decent device for the price. It appears that the device will offer a 4-inch display on the front with a resolution of 800 x 480. It comes powered by a 32-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.5Ghz and coupled with 1GB of RAM. It also comes with 8GB of internal storage and will be powered by a 1,500 mAh battery. It has support for Dual SIM and 4G VoLTE. More detailed info about the same will be unveiled tomorrow, so stay tuned to Phone Radar for more info on this.
Coming back to the Z9, we don’t have any other info about the pricing, availability or the specs of the device. There are rumours about this device launching in the same timeframe as that of the Z2, but we doubt that. Stay tuned for more info on this in coming weeks.
