Samsung uses its Exynos chipset mainly in the Indian markets and now it has announced another mid-range Exynos 7904 chipset targeted towards Indian market. According to the South Korean Giant, the new chipset will be bringing high-end features to the midrange segment. The chipset is expected to make a debut with Galaxy M20 and M30 smartphones which are said to be launched on January 28th as the invitations are already being sent.
The Exynos 7904 chipset will be sporting eight cores, which is built on a 14nm manufacturing process. Furthermore, it will feature two high performance of 1.8GHz Cortex-A73 cores aided with a sixteen of 1.6GHz Cortex-A53 cores which are mainly made for power efficiency. The new chipset will be having a Cat. 12 LTE modem with 3 carrier aggregation that supports downlink speeds of up to 600Mbps.
It will also support the triple camera or a single camera module up to 32MP and Full HD+ Display resolutions also. The company also promises excellent multimedia performance, fast mobile connection, seamless multitasking, and swift web surfing at a low price. It will also be supporting 1080p video capture at 120fps or 4k at 30fps. Looks like we would be seeing this processor soon in the market as the mass production of the chipset has started.
We can expect the flagship models of the company, the Galaxy S10, and S10 smartphone will be coming with the latest Snapdragon 855 processors for the global variant and even the foldable phone is around the corner for a launch.
