Now that the Note 7 smartphone is officially dead, there aren’t many options available in the market if you are looking for a device with a stylus. You can obviously get the Note 5 if you want but when you talk about something new, you are out of luck here. But hey, it looks like Samsung has decided to come up something new here after all. What we are looking at here is not a smartphone at all. It is far more than a smartphone.

Yes, we are talking about a Chromebook. A Chromebook with which you ca essentially get more work done at any given time. And now the upcoming new Chromebook from Samsung will also come with a Stylus. It is called the Chromebook Pro and we already have our first look at the device way ahead of its official launch. The South Korean manufacturer has quietly listed a new Chromebook on its Korean website. This is the new Chromebook Pro.

This new Chromebook Pro runs Chrome OS and it features a 12.3-inch touchscreen display (3:2 aspect ratio) with 400 nits brightness and a resolution of 2400 x 1600 pixels. And interestingly, it comes with a 360-degree hinge and also a stylus. Yes, both of them are quite new for a Chromebook from Samsung, but it looks like they will be a great addition. However, one thing to note here is the fact that they are not calling it the S Pen. The stylus here is simply termed as ‘PEN’.

And now, let’s take a look at the specs of this new Chromebook Pro. The Chromebook Pro is equipped with a 2GHz hexa-core processor (two Cortex-A72 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores). It packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage as well. And now with the addition of the Google Play store on the Chrome OS, users can now run Android Apps as well on a Chromebook. And with the powerful specs like this, it looks like this one will be something to look forward to.

Now when you talk about the looks of the device, thus new Chromebook pro appears to be built of out aluminum. And that PEN has a special slot to insert when not in use, just like the Note smartphone. The new Chromebook Pro is 13.9mm thin and weighs just 1.08kg. And since it sports that 360-degree hinge, it can be rotated and used a tablet as well. This allows for a multi-purpose use. The keyboard comes with keys which has rounded edges.

The new Chromebook Pro comes with USB Type-C port and also a headphone jack and an SDcard slot can be found here. The battery is said to last for about 10 hours on a good working day. And users who purchase this will also get one year of free AirDroid subscription. Well, when you talk about purchasing it, the options are not out yet. This Chromebook was listed on Adorama for $499 before it got pulled. So as of now, the only thing which we can do is wait for the company to announce it officially so that we can get some options to buy them. Stay tuned for more details on the same.
