Samsung Wearable Devices Leaked ahead of the Launch at MWC 2019
It is utterly evident that Samsung is geared to launch its new flagship Galaxy S10 trio of smartphones right before MWC this month i.e., on February 20. The same day Samsung is also unveiling its much anticipated first foldable phone, which the company had confirmed and had teased earlier. It appears Samsung isn’t just launching new smartphones after all but also new significant wearables are most likely to be unveiled at the unpacked event this month.
A new update for Samsung’s wearable app for Android had unwittingly showcased new wearables from the tech giant, which are most likely to be unveiled at the event in a couple of weeks. The update was first noticed by SamCentral, which had showcased a few new wearables in addition to the updated versions of the current wearables portfolio developed by Samsung.
The unreleased wearable products include – Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Fit/ Fit e, and the new Galaxy Buds. While the Watch and the Buds appear to be new, the Galaxy Fit/Fit e seems to be an improved version of the existing Gear Fit 2 series. The Galaxy Buds are supposedly the first true wireless buds from Samsung and are rumored to be bundled alongside the Galaxy S10 series of smartphones. And, the Galaxy Watch Active is said to have an updated 40mm case and a rotating bezel, which might bring new features in addition to AMOLED screen, NFC and water resistance features. The Galaxy Watch is said to be featured in two different color options.
The accidentally leaked wearable line up brings in more hype to the unpacked event, which already is hyped with foldable phone and first-ever launch of a trio of Galaxy S series phones. These leaks indeed suggest Samsung is all set to have an impactful start this year by bringing a wide variety of products to the consumers after the unpacked event in a week.
