Samsung Teases Galaxy A90 Smartphone with Bigger Battery Capacity

Later this week, Samsung will be launching a new high-end smartphone under the Galaxy A series. While there is no official confirmation, we expect the upcoming device to be rumored Galaxy A90. In the last couple of week, Samsung has unveiled a few Galaxy A smartphones including the Galaxy A20, Galaxy A40, and Galaxy A70. Apart from the Galaxy A90, the company might also launch the Galaxy A20e and Galaxy A60 smartphones.
We are also seeing the leaks about the second-gen Android Go smartphone. The Galaxy A2 Core will be launched as the successor to last year’s Galaxy J2 Core. Talking about the Galaxy A90, the device is rumored to offer flagship-grade hardware at competitive pricing. The Galaxy A90 will be competing with the affordable flagship devices from Chinese brands like Xiaomi and OnePlus. There are leaks that the device will come with a pop-up selfie camera.
Now, the recently posted teaser image of upcoming Galaxy A smartphone hints it to sport a bigger battery capacity. The newly launched Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 smartphones are powered by a 5000mAh battery. Both the devices also support 15W fast charging via USB Type-C port. The upcoming Galaxy A90 might also come with the same 5,000mAh battery. However, we expect it to offer 25W fast charging.
Take these details with a pinch of salt and wait for the official specifications which will be revealed on April 10th. Just like the other Galaxy A devices, this new device should also run on the latest Android 9.0 Pie-based One UI out of the box. Also, expect it come with a glossy finish body with gradient color options. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details about the upcoming Galaxy A smartphones!
