A few days back, there are rumors that Samsung is introducing a new Galaxy R series. Even the upcoming Galaxy A90 is said to be launched the rumored Galaxy R lineup. According to the source, the ‘Rx’ is the internal code for the Galaxy A series and many websites mistakenly covered it as Galaxy R series. The company is going to launch the Galaxy A90 smartphone with top-notch specifications to compete with the affordable flagship smartphones like OnePlus 7 and ASUS 6Z.

Samsung will also launch the 5G variant of the Galaxy A90 alongside the standard variant. The Galaxy A90 5G will be the second Samsung Galaxy smartphone to offer 5G connectivity. The Galaxy S10 5G launched earlier this year is the company’s first ever 5G smartphone. Huawei already has two 5G smartphones in its portfolio – Huawei Mate X 5G and Huawei Mate 20 X 5G. The company is also rumored to introduce new 45W fast charging technology with the Galaxy A90 smartphones.

Even the upcoming Galaxy Note 10 series is also said to support 45W fast charging technology. The Galaxy S10 series launched earlier this year came with just 18W fast charging support, but the company later added the 25W fast charging via OTA update. The Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A80 are the first Samsung smartphones to come with 25W fast charging out of the box. Talking about the Galaxy A90 smartphone, the device was earlier spotted online with the model number SM-A908N.

It is rumored to come with a pop-up camera featuring a 32MP sensor. It will be running on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with the latest One UI laid on top. With the pop-up camera, the Galaxy A90 will sport new infinity display on the front with no notch or bezels. The Galaxy A80 is the first Samsung smartphone to come with this new infinity Super AMOLED display. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
