The South Korean Giant-Samsung has been working on its Galaxy F foldable phone from a while and is expected to be launched in the first half of 2019. Samsung is conducting its Developer Conference next month and will also be expected to unveil its foldable smartphone or will at least show its conceptual image explaining its features. According to few reports, Samsung is said to be working on two different prototypes of its foldable displays and one of them will open from side to side and while the other one will be extending the screen and the other one Horizontally.

Recently Samsung also filed a trademark with the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) on 26th of October for the Samsung Infinity-V, which could be a trademark that will be used with its upcoming smartphones. Although it is not clear, which device will be getting this infinity-V display or for that matter, we are not clear with what is Infinity-V display except for a few assumptions. The company’s 18.5:9 displays are known as Infinity displays which started with the Galaxy S8 smartphone. These displays are curved edge-to-edge screens that come with tiny bezels on the top and bottom.

Few reports also claim that the upcoming foldable smartphone could come with tiny bezels and have a 4-inch display to get a quick access to all the message and call notifications without having to unfold the device every time. There are other smartphone makers which are getting ready to bring the foldable smartphone into the market and we can expect these foldable display phones will be a revelation in the market. Are you excited to see this Infinity-V display on the upcoming devices? Could the foldable display get showcased at the SDC next month?
