Not long ago, we have seen Xiaomi launching its Pocophone F1 for an aggressive pricing and high-end Chipset. The handset came with MIUI for the device which is also the simplified version of the MIUI 9.6 based on Android Oreo. Now the company has decided to push its closed beta ROM with a version 10.8.30 based on the latest Android Pie OS. The open beta should be available for everyone from this Friday and the stable ROM should be rolled out to the Pocophone F1 by the ear end.
If you are interested to install the closed beta onto your device, you need to flash the smartphone with custom recovery tool and moreover, the size of the file is 1.5GB. Xiaomi also promised that the Pocophone F1 will be receiving at least Android Pie and Android Q and this should make all the F1 users happier. Well, if you don’t know about the device, it came with a 6.18 1080 x 2246 pixels display with 82.2 percent screen to body ratio. The smartphone supports Hybrid Dual SIM card connectivity and comes with USB Type-C reversible connector.
Under the hood, Xiaomi has provided a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 10nm chipset which is used in most of the flagship models of this year. There is an Adreno 630 GPU and comes in 6GB/8GB storage options along with 64/128 GB and 256GB of storage. There is a 12MP main camera sensor, along with a 5MP camera with a depth sensor and features dual LED-flash and HDR along with panorama features.
The company has provided a 20MP camera on the front and has the connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi along with the sensors like Infrared, Face recognition, the Fingerprint sensor on the rear and few more. There is 4000mAh battery to power the smartphone and also supports Quick Charge 3.0 along with Fast battery charging.
