A few days back, we have seen the leaked press renders of the new Samsung Galaxy View 2 tablet. It is the successor to Galaxy View tablet launched back in 2015. While the original Galaxy View tablet came with 18.4-inch display, the new Galaxy View 2 sports 17.3-inch display. The 4G LTE variant of the tablet will be made available very soon on AT&T. Samsung is also expected to launch the Wi-Fi only in the coming months. Compared to the older Galaxy View tablet, the company is offering much better hardware with the all-new Galaxy View 2 tablet.
It comes with a hinged kickstand design which can be adjusted up to 30-degrees. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the hinge. The USB Type-C port and SIM card + MicroSD card slot can be spotted on the right edge. Talking about the specifications, the Galaxy View 2 will come powered by the 14nm Exynos 7885 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. It will be coming with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Using the MicroSD card slot, the storage can be further expanded up to 400GB.
The 5,700mAh battery on the older Galaxy View tablet is rated to give up to 8 hours of continuous video playback. Now, the new Galaxy View 2 tablet sports a whopping 12,000mAh battery. Also, the stereo speakers are now upgraded to quad speakers on this new tablet. The Hinged Kickstand on the rear comes with a big hole which can be used for carrying this mammoth tablet. The large 17.3-inch display comes with Full HD resolution. There is also a dedicated TV mode for watching TV shows, OTT content, Live TV, and more.
