The SM-T545 which was recently spotted on the benchmarking websites is the model number of the Galaxy Tab Active Pro. While the earlier launched Galaxy Tab Active tablets came with 8-inch displays, the upcoming Galaxy Tab Active Pro sports a bigger 10.1-inch display.

As of now, there is no information about the launch of 8-inch Galaxy Tab Active in 2019. Based on the benchmark listings, we can confirm the Galaxy Tab Active Pro to come with the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. It packs 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. As seen with the earlier launched rugged Galaxy tablets, we also expect the new Galaxy Tab Active Pro to come with S Pen support.

It is rumored to be launched in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE variants. There is no other information available about the rugged tablet. However, the company is also working on the flagship Galaxy Tab S5 tablet as a successor to the last year’s Galaxy Tab S4. It is rumored to come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform and also includes built-in S Pen. Just like its predecessor, the upcoming Galaxy Tab S5 will be launched in the month of August.

Talking about the Galaxy Tab Active Pro, we expect it to come with physical navigation buttons beneath the display for back, home, and multitasking. It will be IP and Military grade certified to withstand all weather conditions. The Galaxy Tab Active series is more focused on enterprise customers with features like Pogo pin connectors for dock charging and more.
