Two Variants of Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016) with 1.5GB RAM & 4,000mAh Battery Listed Online
In the last couple of weeks, we have seen few renders that are leaked online confirming a new Galaxy Tab to be launched soon. Now an online retailer in Poland has listed two variants of the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016) with the model numbers SM-T280 and SM-T285. While the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 with the model number SM-T280 comes with only Wi-Fi option, the SM-T285 includes 4G LTE along with Wi-Fi.
The Wi-Fi only variant is priced at PLN 599 (approx $150 / Rs. 10,150) while the LTE variant of Tab A 7.0 (2016) is priced higher at PLN 799 (approx $200 / Rs. 13,550). Both the variants are available for pre-order while the shipping starts from March 8th. Talking about the specifications, the Tab A 7.0 sports basic specifications like 7-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It is powered by an unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1.3Ghz.
There is 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion upto 200GB. In the camera department, it includes a 5MP autofocus rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The tablet is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that is rated to deliver 10 hours of video playback or 11 hours of internet usage. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with TouchWiz UI overlaid. The Tab A 7.0 measures 186.9 x 108.8 x 8.7 mm and weighs 283 grams.
Apart from the respective Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity options, both the variants include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The textured back panel offers nice grip to hold on to the tablet. It has the Samsung’s Kids Mode 4.0 that brings more educational and entertainment content for Kids. It will be available in both Black and White color options. Since the tablets are already listed online, the official launch can be expected in the next few days.
