Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) Announced with Android 9 Pie & 6150mAh Battery

Just last week we have seen Samsung introducing its Galaxy Tab S5e which will be available in the second quarter of this year in the U.S, Germany, and a few other countries. Now the Galaxy Tab A10.1 (2019) has been introduced in Germany with a 10.1-inch Full HD screen. The device will be available in Wi-Fi and 4G variants and will go on sale in Black, Gold, and Silver color options for 210 Euros (Wi-Fi) (approx Rs. 17,000) while the 4G version will be priced at 270 Euros (approx Rs. 22,000).

This tablet will be coming with a 10.1inch 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and will have a big 6150mAh battery on the rear to power this tab. It is not mentioned if it would be coming with any fast charging technology but it will be featuring a USB Type-C connecting port. Under the hood, there is an Exynos 7904 14nm processor with eight cores, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali G71 GPU.

Out of the box, the tablet will be coming with Android 9 Pie operating system and will be getting further updates when available for it. On the rear, there is an 8MP camera while on the front we can find a 5MP sensor. The onboard storage of the device is limited to 32GB which can be extended further up to a maximum of 400GB via MicroSD card slot. The device measures 245 mm x 149 mm x 7.5 mm and weighs 460 grams in weight.

On the connectivity part, it will feature Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS. A-GPS along with few other options while the 4G LTE connectivity is optional. The device will be available from April 5 in Germany but nothing about the global availability is mentioned yet.
