Samsung Galaxy On6 with 5.6″ Super AMOLED Infinity Display Launched in India for Rs 14,490

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy J6 & Galaxy J8 smartphones with Super AMOLED Infinity displays. These are the first ever Galaxy J-series smartphones to feature Infinity display. Today, the company launched first On-series smartphone with the same Super AMOLED Infinity Display called Galaxy On6. The device is priced at Rs 14,490 and comes in Black and Blue color options.

It also sports rear-facing fingerprint sensor and has face unlock support. On the front is the 5.6 inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with HD+ (720 x 1480 pixels) resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the 64-bit Exynos 7870 octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz and comes coupled with Mali T830 MP1 GPU. It comes packed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

There is also a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further expanding up to 256GB. In the camera department, the Galaxy On6 sports a 13MP camera on the rear with f/1.9 aperture and an 8MP camera on the front for selfies. Both the front and rear cameras come accompanied by a LED flash. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Samsung Experience UI on top. The device is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and lacks fast charging support.

It measures 149.3 x 70.2 x 8.2 mm and weighs 153 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The Samsung Galaxy On6 will be sold via Flipkart and Samsung eShop. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more updates!
