After the launch of the two flagships for the year 2017, Samsung now appears to be working hard to make everything right with the upcoming Note flagship. If you have been following the news lately, then you already know that the company is planning on launching the Galaxy Note 8 later this year. up until now, we didn’t really have a lot to report about the design of the smartphone. However, now we do have some new reports that give us an idea of what to expect from this smartphone.
According to the new leaks which we have, the Galaxy Note 8 appears to look a lot like the current Galaxy S8 flagships. The source of the news had posted an image on Twitter of what appears to be some kind of a render of the Galaxy Note 8. As you can see from the image, the front of the device is mostly covered by the display. It definitely borrows the Infinity display from the Galaxy S8 smartphones, however, the curved edges seems to be wider.
At the back, we have the dual rear camera setup. This is also something that we have been hearing a lot over the last couple of weeks. It looks like this is happening after all. However, if you have observed the design, then you might have noticed that there is no visible fingerprint scanner at the back of the device or on the front. This either means that the company has finally managed to embed it on the display. Or this could also mean that they are getting rid of it completely.
However, we don’t have any official confirmation on the same as of now and hence we suggest you not to speculate a lot around this. Also, another leak from Weibo shows that the 3.5mm headphone will also be retained and it will be located at the bottom. From what we have heard, it looks like the smartphone will also carry stereo speakers on the front which will be tuned by AKG. Some of the other rumored features include an S Pen with vibration and a textured Bixby button. However, as mentioned earlier, we don’t have confirmation on any of this and hence we suggest you take all of this with a pinch of salt.
Having said that, we would like to know what do you think about this. Are you excited for the Galaxy Note 8 or are you going to skip it? Be sure to let us know by dropping a comment down below and also, stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more updates like this.
