Samsung India has announced that the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, and Galaxy M30 smartphone will be getting the Android 9 Pie update in India which will also be bringing improvements and security patches starting from 3rd of June. These devices were launched earlier this year in the country which came out of the box with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with the companies own Samsung Experience 9.5 on top.
Recently we have seen the South Korean giant rolling out the Android 9 Pie update for the Galaxy J6, Galaxy J8 and Galaxy On7 Prime in India. Well, the latest update will bring many changes that include system-wide Night mode, many visual changes, Scene Optimizer feature for the camera of the device, floating mode in the Samsung Keyboard app and also dedicated Kids Mode along with some bug fixes.
The Galaxy M30 smartphone was launched with Infinity-u display that was priced for 14,990 for the 4GB RAM variant while the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 17,990. The handset came with 6.4-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolutions with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio Super AMOLED display and is powered with Octa-core Exynos 7904 14nm SoC which is coupled with Mali G71 GPU. The onboard storage is either 64GB or 128GB that can be extended further up to 512GB via microSD card slot.
The handset came with Android 8.1 operating system out of the box which is now going to get the latest update along with its siblings M10 and M20. Furthermore, the device comes with a 13MP+5MP camera on the rear along with a 5MP ultra-wide angle camera. For selfies, there is a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and there is a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging technology. Do you own any of these M series smartphones?
