Samsung Indian has been facing heat from the Chinese brand in the budget segment. Xiaomi has overthrown Samsung as the top smartphone brand in India for three consecutive quarters. Samsung is said to launch four new smartphones in the next few weeks. We are seeing leaks about the Galaxy J6 2018 smartphone from the last couple of months. Today, we also got to know about the Galaxy J4 smartphone.
While there is no confirmation, Samsung might also launch the Galaxy A6 & Galaxy A6+ in the Indian market. The recently leaked poster of the Galaxy J6 revealed the device to sport Super AMOLED Infinity display. It will also offer Samsung Mall and new ‘Chat Over Video’ features. We also expect to see India-centric features like S-Bike and Ultra Data Saving modes.
The company expected to launch the Galaxy J6 in India on May 25th. According to Phonehorn, the Galaxy J6 will be priced at Rs 13990 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs 16490 for the 4GB RAM variant. The Galaxy J6 will be coming with 5.6-inch HD+ (1480 x 720 pixels) display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and will be powered by Exynos 7870 octa-core processor.
In the camera department, the device will be offering 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Talking about the Galaxy J4, it comes with a 5.5-inch 16:9 display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display. Under the hood is the Exynos 7570 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM. In terms of optics, the Galaxy J4 sports 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
Both the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J4 will be running on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience skin laid on top. While the Galaxy J6 is mentioned to launch on May 25th, there is no information about the launch date of Galaxy J4. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
