It will be the first ever smartphone in the Galaxy J-series to launch with 18.5:9 Infinity Display. The company seems to launch at least a couple more smartphones featuring Infinity Display. Now, the press renders and key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A6 (2018) smartphones are now leaked. The Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) are the first Galaxy A-series smartphones to launch with Infinity Display.

Samsung Galaxy A6 (2018) Smartphones Leaked

(April 24th, 2018)

We expect the company to launch both the Galaxy A6 (2018) & A6+ (2018) smartphones in the coming weeks. Both the devices with the model numbers SM-A600FN and SM-A605G recently got certified by the FCC. From the above featured image, we can confirm the device to come with the metal unibody design. Apart from different screen sizes, both the new Galaxy A6 devices are said to look exactly similar. The devices come with triple card slot for adding two SIM cards and one MicroSD card. While the power button and loudspeaker are placed on the right edge, the volume rocker is on the left edge.

Both the front and rear cameras on this device come accompanied by a LED flash. As seen on the Galaxy S9 devices, the Galaxy A6+ (2018) also sports vertically aligned dual cameras on the rear. Just below the dual camera sensors is the fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy A6+ (2018) comes with a 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display with Full HD+ (2220 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The device will be powered by the 14nm Exynos 7870 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-T830 GPU and 4GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Galaxy A6 (2018) sports a smaller 5.6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display.

Unlike the Galaxy A6+ (2018), the Galaxy A6 (2018) only comes with a single rear camera. While the Galaxy A6 (2018) packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, the Galaxy A6+ (2018) offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Connectivity options include Cat.6 LTE, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz & 5GHz), GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The devices will be available in Black, Gold, and Blue color options. We can expect the official launch event to happen in the next few days. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
