Officially Launched
Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro with Snapdragon 626 SoC & 16MP Cameras Launched at Rs. 27,990

Earlier this year, Samsung launched its first Galaxy C series smartphone, Galaxy C9 Pro in India. It is priced at Rs. 36,900 and comes with a premium build quality and features top-notch specifications. While the 2017 Galaxy A smartphones come with Glass back body instead of Metal, the new Galaxy C series is a perfect alternative for those who still looks for a high-end Samsung smartphone with unibody metal design. Today, the company launched the Galaxy C7 Pro smartphone exclusively on Amazon India for Rs. 27,990.
Both the Galaxy C9 Pro and C7 Pro shares the same design language with a slim metal body featuring six-string antenna design. On the front is a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. There is also a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on top. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 626 octa-core (MSM8953pro) processor clocked at 2.2GHz and includes Adreno 506 GPU. It packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded additionally up to additional 256GB.
Though the company launched the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, the Galaxy C7 Pro still runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based TouchWiz UI. As seen on the Galaxy C9 Pro, the new Galaxy C7 Pro also sports 16MP cameras with a f/1.9 aperture on front and back of the device. However, only the primary camera comes accompanied with dual tone LED flash. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE. The physical home button on the front also comes integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
It is backed by a 3300mAh non-removable battery and supports adaptive fast charging that can fully charge the battery in 100 minutes. Connectivity options include Cat.6 LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm Audio port, and a USB Type-C port. As the Galaxy C7 Pro supports NFC, it works with the recently launched Samsung Pay virtual payment service. The rear camera slightly protrudes from the body and is prone to get damaged. The Galaxy C7 Pro will be available in Gold and Navy Blue color options.
Last month, the company also launched the Galaxy C5 Pro smartphone in China. While the Galaxy C9 Pro and C7 Pro are now officially launched in India, soon we might also see the smaller Galaxy C5 Pro. Compared to the 2017 Galaxy A smartphone, the Galaxy C series smartphones are priced slightly on the lower side. However, these aren’t IP68 certified, unlike the 2017 Galaxy A smartphones. As said earlier, the device will be sold through Amazon India and will be available in stock starting from April 11th.
