The South Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung has launched yet another smartphone this year. The company is known for launching multiple devices every year for at different price range. The company launched the Galaxy A9 Pro outside China. However, this smartphone is said to be launched only in the select market at this time. According to the source, the device is currently available to purchase in Malaysia for RM 1,900 which roughly come out to around 32,000 INR.

The Galaxy A9 Pro was launched in China earlier this year in March. This international version is also featuring the same specifications as that one. The A9 Pro is just a slightly upgraded version of the A9. It has the same 6-inch display with 1080p resolution. It also features the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor.

The main differences include a 4GB of RAM instead of 3GB in the regular A9. The onboard storage is also bumped up from 16GB to 32GB. On the camera side, we have a 16-megapixel camera this time around replacing the 13-megapixel shooter on the A9. The Galaxy A9 Pro features a 5,000 mAh battery and also supports fast charging. The new Galaxy A9 Pro runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box. It will be available in 3 colors including Gold, Pink, and White.

Samsung also launched the Galaxy A8 last year and both A9 and the A9 Pro are a subtle upgrade from the A8. It featured a 5.7-inch display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080. It packed comparatively less powerful Snapdragon 615 processor and only 2GB of RAM and a 32GB storage. The device was powered by a 3050 mAh battery. Check out our full review of the Galaxy A8 here.

The device is being sold in the country by an electronic retailer through its physical stores. The device is not yet listed on the Samsung’s Malaysia website, which could possibly mean that the device is not yet being sold officially by the manufacturer. We have no confirmation on the device’s availability or pricing in India. Stay tuned for more updates on the device.

This device is the real competitor of today’s Mi Max in terms of features and specs… Still looking at the price we can get the Mi Max for 10k less
