At the beginning of this year, Samsung revamped the Galaxy A series by launching the new Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50 smartphones. These are also first budget smartphones to come with the latest One UI. Later, the company also introduced the Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A70 smartphones in the Galaxy S series. In the month of May, the company announced a temporary price cut on the Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A30 smartphones which lasted for about a week.
Today, Samsung announced a price cut of up to Rs 1,500 on both these smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy A20 which was launched for Rs 12,490 in April will get a discount of Rs 1,000. On the other hand, the Galaxy A30 gets a price cut of Rs 1,500 and will be now available for Rs 13,990. While both the Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A30 are already available at a discounted price via offline stores, the new pricing is yet to get reflected on online stores.
Recently, the company also announced a price drop of up to Rs 1,500 on the Galaxy A50 smartphone. Talking about the features, both the Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A30 come with Infinity-U Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 9.0 Pie-based One UI out of the box. While the Galaxy A30 offers Full HD+ resolution, the Galaxy A20 settles with HD+ resolution. Just like other smartphones in this price segment, these two Galaxy A smartphones also come with a plastic body.
The Galaxy A20 comes powered by Exynos 7884 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Galaxy A30 packs Exynos 9610 processor and includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
