In the recent launch of Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, Google has said that the devices would be coming with Android 6.0. After the launch of Android M, consumers are eagerly waiting for the update to roll out on their device and Samsung has already started working on it.

Samsung, the Korean giant, has begun testing the updates on its flagship devices that were launched earlier. Samsung is testing the new update on the devices that were launched in 2014 and earlier 2015 i.e.

  • Galaxy S5
  • Galaxy Note 4
  • Galaxy S6
  • Galaxy S6 Edge
  • Galaxy Note 5
  • Galaxy S6 Edge+
  • .

Samsung is not only testing the premium devices, but it’s also concentrating on the mid-range device like Galaxy S5 Neo and few other smartphones. Just because your device isn’t mentioned in the list, it doesn’t mean that you won’t get updates. It’s just a hint that Android 6.0 Marshmallow update may soon roll on your device. Not only Samsung, but all the other brands have started working on the update, and you can check the list of the devices here.
