RedmiBook 14 with 8th-gen Intel CPU and Windows 10 OS Launched in China

As teased earlier, Redmi today launched the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones. However, the company also it’s first ever laptop called RedmiBook 14. Just Mi Laptops, the RedmiBook design is also heavily inspired by Apple MacBooks. As the name suggests, the RedmiBook comes with a 14-inch display and is powered by 8th-gen Intel CPU. It comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Home Edition and includes Xiaomi smart unlock feature for unlocking the laptop using the Mi Band.
The 14-inch display comes with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and offers 81.2% screen-to-body ratio and 178-degree wide viewing angle. It comes powered by 8th-gen Intel i5 or i7 processor coupled with 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics card and 8GB of DDR4 RAM. It also packs up to 512GB of SSD storage. Talking about the I/O, the RedmiBook comes with 3x USB Type-A ports (2 USB 3.0 + 1 USB 2.0), 1x 3.5mm headphone jack, and 1x HDMI port.
It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n ( 2.4GHz & 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. On the audio front, the RedmiBook 14 sports two 1.5W speakers and Supports DTS audio technology. It is backed by a 46Wh battery and comes with a 65W power adapter. The RedmiBook 14 measures 323 x 228 x 17.95 mm and weighs 1.5kg. It comes with a Full-size keyboard with 1.3mm key travel. The company also added a cooling fan along with a copper heat pipe for better heat dissipation
As of now, the RedmiBook 14 is only available in Silver color. Unlike Xiaomi laptops which comes with zero brandings, the RedmiBook has the brand logo on the outer shell. The Core i5-powered RedmiBook 14 with 256GB and 512GB of storage is priced at CNY 3999 and CNY 4299 respectively. The Core i7-powered RedmiBook 14 costs CNY 4999.
