Redmi 6A & Redmi 6 Pro Gets Temporary Price Cut in India via Online Stores
Redmi 6A along with Redmi 6 Pro have got a temporary price drop in India and now these smartphones are available for a less price. The Redmi 6A is now available for Rs. 6,499 for the 32GB model while the Redmi 6 Pro can be bought for Rs. 8,999. The buyers can also exchange their existing smartphone for these new models and the company is also offering Rs. 2,200 Jio Cashback offer via Mi.com along with 100GB of additional 4G data. This temporary price cut is seen on Amazon India as well as Mi online store.
Before the price drop, the Redmi 6A was priced at 6,999 for the 2GB/32GB storage variant and gets 500 rupees price slash. The regular price of the Redmi 6 Pro is Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB/32GB storage variant and it is priced at Rs. 8,999 while the bigger 4GB/64GB variant is now available at Rs. 10,999 which is Rs.1000 lesser than the regular price. Furthermore, the Redmi 6 Pro get 4.5TB of high-speed data for Jio customers apart from the 2,200 instant cash back.
The Redmi 6 Pro comes with a 5.84-inch display with a notch on top and is powered with a Snapdragon 635 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. Out of the box, it comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with MIUI on top. There is a 12MP main camera sensor on the rear, while there is a 5MP camera on the front. There is a 4000mAh battery to power the handset and comes with a metallic body.
On the other hand, the entry-level Redmi 6A features a 5.45-inch 18:9 display. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Helio A22 processor coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM and PowerVR GPU. Furthermore, it has a single 13MP camera on the rear while it is accompanied with an 8MP camera on the front. There is a 3000 mAh battery on the smartphone to power it.
