RealmeOS, Three New Realme Quad rear-camera phones coming soon, CEO confirms
In a series of tweets, Realme CEO, Madhav Sheth had confirmed the company plans of launching three quad rear camera phones this year. These phones are said to be significant upgrades for its realme series, realme Pro series, and the recently unveiled realme X series as well. Out of the three quad-rear cameras setup phones, one of it is supposedly the much anticipated 64MP camera phone developed by Realme. CEO Madhav Sheth had proudly stated their company is the first one to bring the 64MP Quad Camera smartphone, which is made by Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor.

Realme CEO had initially shared the first shot of its 64MP camera phone revealing the sample photo that revealed us on what the 64MP sensor can do. CEO had further shared new samples of the upcoming 64MP phone along with the company’s forthcoming Quad Camera System functionality in his tweets, as stated earlier.

The newly announced Quad Rear camera setup on realme phones includes — an ultra-resolution sensor, a super wide-angle sensor, an ultra macro and a telephoto lens with 2X zoom. Further, these quad cameras are said to be featuring the conventional portrait, pano, nightscape, and the company’s conventional chroma boost mode as well.

The company which started as a sub-brand of OPPO and became independent Realme firm last year has now reached 10milion mark in its smartphone shipments.
Realme has conducted its camera innovation event to showcase its upcoming three quad-camera phones’ technology after which the company’s CEO Madhav Sheth had also confirmed the much anticipated RealmeOS is coming soon to India Today Tech. At the event, CEO has reportedly confirmed that the new RealmeOS would soon replace the ColorOS this year. Evidently, the upcoming RealmeOS is said to be based on Google’s new Android Q and is believed to launch only after the official release from Google, which would likely be in October. It is also believed that the new RealmeOS would likely be a trimmed down ColorOS or could be on the likes of OnePlus’ OXygenOS, as suggested by the report.

That said, the new realme phones with 64MP sensor and quad rear cameras are set to be launched before Diwali, meaning it could launch by the end of October. The implementation of these new cameras on all its Realme series phones could really be a significant move from Realme across its emerging markets including India and China. And, also the Realme 64MP camera phone would also be its Realme 5 series phone, which again could be a speculation as the CEO had included ‘5’ in his Twitter handle if you notice it closely.
