Realme X Spider-Man Far From Home Edition Launched in China, Sale Starts From July 9

UPDATE — While the report below indicated that there would be a Realme X with Spider-Man: Far From Home Theme Case launching in India, it appears there’s a Realme X Spider-Man edition phone altogether. Realme has launched its Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home Limited Edition Phone in China. The sale is said to begin from July 9th with CNY 1799 (Rs 18,100 approx). The device features similar specifications of the Realme X launched earlier, but comes only in 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage variant. However, the Indian launch of the Realme X is expected to be sometime next month.

Realme India has recently announced its collaboration with Marvel for Spider-Man: Far From Home edition, we can expect the launch of the Realme X in the first week of July, as the movie is set for release on July 4th in India.

Earlier (June 27th) — Realme has unveiled its first 48MP camera smartphone — the Realme X, last month in China. Realme started selling phones in India and few Asian markets earlier and forayed into the Chinese market with the Realme X smartphone. Recently released Realme 3 Pro in India was dubbed in Realme X Lite in China. Well, it appears the Realme X is coming to India along with ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ case as well.

A report from 91Mobiles suggests us that Realme is said to be in collaboration with Marvel’s new Spider-Man movie for the Realme X smartphone, which is expected to release sometime soon in July, as per earlier reports. The report further suggests Realme will be bringing Spider-Man: Far From Home-themed case along with the Realme X smartphone. However, it is still unclear on whether the case or the Realme X or both will be launching first since the movie is scheduled to release on July 4.

The company hasn’t revealed any official date of the Realme X phone yet. Meanwhile, Realme has recently teased its 64MP camera phone with the samples taken from the phone itself. It is still not known, which phone or what series would be featuring this new 64MP camera as it is still in the working phase.

Regardless, the Realme X launched back in China featured a 6.53-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display without any notch or whatsoever — thanks to the pop-up selfie camera on top. The Snapdragon 710 SoC powered the Realme X, and as stated earlier it featured dual rear cameras with 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and a 5MP depth sensor as well. The pop-up selfie camera featured a 16MP sensor too. The device also featured three storage options including 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB of onboard storage as well.
